Proceeds from the 2018 Mule Kick 5K and 1-Mile Trot will go toward maintaining the mobile medical unit.

The mobile unit provides health care services to at-risk individuals throughout southern Middle Tennessee by providing basic health screenings and education to rural and underserved areas.

A donation to the Wellness and Aquatics Complex Healthy Living Endowment and a donation to the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department will be made from the proceeds as well.

The Maury Regional health Care Foundation is proud to host a long-standing event that supports its mission for a healthier Maury County, with race proceeds supporting many health and wellness programs and services for residents who may otherwise not have access.

About the 5k

The Mule Kick 5k is a certified 3.1 mile run that begins at the Riverwalk Park near downtown Columbia, heads toward Riverside Elementary and then meanders through the historic Riverside neighborhood before returning onto Riverside Drive and then onto a paved path through Riverwalk Park along side the Duck River.

About the 1 Mile Trot

The 1-Mile Trot is a fun run for all ages. The top 3 male and female finishers age 12 and under will be awarded. Adults may run, but will not be scored. those registered for the 5k may run in the 1-mile for free.

Packet Pick up

Packet pick up and on-site registration will be held Friday, April 6th from 3:30 -6:30p.m. as well as the morning of the race from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. at the Riverwalk Pavilion. Participants are STRONGLY encouraged to pick up their packets on Friday evening, as the morning of the race becomes very crowded. In the event of inclement weather on Friday or Saturday, packet pick up will be moved to the gym of Riverside Elementary (Side door closest to the park). Any updates will be posted on our Facebook page. Guardians must be present for on-site registration of children age 17 and under.
